Homemade elderberry syrup.

Preparation

Put the dried elderberries, the rosehip tea (or your own dried rosehips), cinnamon stick and cloves in a small saucepan along with the water.

Bring to a boil and simmer for around 10 minutes at very low heat. Turn off the heat and leave it to cool completely.
Strain in a clean container.

How to use:
Add boiling water to around 1 inch (2.5cm) of elderberry drink and 1tsp of honey in a glass.
Drink once a day, or two times a day when you feel a cold coming up.

Warning:
Ask your doctor if safe to use when you are on medication or suffer from an auto-immune disease
Do not use if allergic to elderberries or rosehips
Do not use honey when diabetic
Never consume raw elderberries
Always make sure you know what you are picking from the wild and leave at least 1/3 for wildlife
